Sue Wilson

Sue Wilson from the Let Freedom Ring Project at First Baptist Church was our guest speaker.  She spoke to the club about the significant history of this bell which dates to 1886.   This historic bell  is now on its way to Washington, D.C., where it will ring at the dedication of the National Museum of African American History and Culture on September 24.    Pictured (l-r) are Tom Morris (club sponsor),  Wilson, Carol Beers (club president) and Bobby Braxton (club member who rang this bell as a young man).

Welcome all to our Williamsburg Rotary Club web site. If you have questions concerning Rotary, please do not hesitate to contact us through our "contact us" menu item.  We would be happy to answer any questions you might have.

Carol Beers

President, The Rotary Club of Williamsburg
