Williamsburg Rotary - Community Survey

We were going over the club's rich history and major achievements and realized there had never been an accounting of the Member's community pro-bono work, board participation and volunteer contributions made by Club members to other non-profit, academic, business/professional and community organizations and programs; a silent service above self.

We realize that many of you partipate in these community efforts not for recognition but from personal interest and wanting to give back to the community. We hope you won't mind sharing your community involvement with us with the promise of not attributing names to the organizations touched by your support unless you specify otherwise.

One example for Rotarian Frank Force's is the Savation Army resulting in over $19,000 and 360 hours of the Williamsburg Rotary club members time. As a community organization, we should be proud of these contributions and invite other club members to support and participate.

Please visit our Community giving survey. We will accumulate and document our collective community contributions in time, effort and support. Paper survey versions will be at the next several Rotary meetings.

We plan to compile a list of organizations that the Williamsburg Rotarians support. We will also create a webpage with the list of organizations, the estimate accumulated hours spent and links to their website (good for them and us.) With your permission, we will attribute individual members to these organization, when appropriate.
