Rotaract Club of Williamsburgthe Rotaract Club of Williamsburg met on November 6 and had 11 members attend. See photo below. The club will adopt bylaws and sign the charter at its next meeting. 

 

Another new Rotary Club: the Williamsburg area has a millenial focused club that meets every other week at Center Street Cafe. Last week it held its charter meeting at Paul's Deli. Global Grant update: The training of emergency responders in Rwanda is about to begin.with our club's support. Thanks to Frank Ferrante, Lisa Ogburn (Bangs-Russell Foundation), Alvin Garrison, Jo Janka and Charles Crone for their role in providing matching funding for the grant award and in managing the project going forward.

 

Rotary Young Leaders Award: Nominations for students to go to the RYLA retreat in February are being sought.

 

Rotary Club of Williamsburg grantsDon Murfee is collecting grant requests for this years' awards, due by November 15. Please complete the request form for nonprofit recipients of your choice and forward it to Don today!
